Weather: Gray Skies and Showers Expected This Tuesday

Weather: Gray skies and showers are on the agenda this Tuesday.
On Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at 6:24 AM, it was reported that clouds are moving towards the island from the southeast, affecting local weather conditions. The atmospheric conditions in our region are humid and unstable, as indicated by the Vacoas Meteorological Station's announcement issued at 4:30 AM.
This morning and throughout the day, the weather will be partly to intermittently cloudy, with showers mainly affecting the East, South, and central plateau. These showers may be locally moderate.
In the afternoon, cloud developments are expected in the Northwest and parts of the central plateau, accompanied by localized showers, which may sometimes be moderate and accompanied by thunderstorms.
The maximum temperature will range between 25 and 28 degrees Celsius on the central plateau, and between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius in coastal areas.
During the night, the sky will remain rather cloudy with showers, occasionally moderate, and a risk of thunderstorms. Pockets of fog are also expected.
The minimum temperature will fluctuate between 20 and 22 degrees Celsius on the central plateau, and between 24 and 26 degrees Celsius on the coast.
Winds will be blowing from the southeast at approximately 15 km/h.
The sea will be rough beyond the reefs, with swells from the southwest reaching about 2 meters.
In case of thunderstorms, it is advisable to stay sheltered, avoid plains, hiking, and going out to sea, not to seek shelter under trees, and exercise caution on the roads as visibility may be reduced due to showers and fog.
