Vacoas-Phoenix: Ahmad Sulliman: "If the future elected officials do what they say, it will already be a lot"

Ahmad Sulliman from Éditions Le Printemps has a deep attachment to his hometown, Vacoas. He recalls that when he was considering opening a bookstore back in 1989, some people advised against it. "What? You want to open a bookstore in Vacoas? You should rather set up in Port-Louis or Rose-Hill." The bookseller, who later opened branches in Curepipe and Port-Louis, explains that he has nonetheless remained rooted in his community.
