From May 16 to 18, the Swami Vivekananda International Convention Centre (SVICC) will host DITEX 2025. More than just a trade show, this event serves as a convergence of innovation, ethics, opportunities, and inclusion. This edition places Mauritius on the map as a major emerging technology nation. Don't miss this event.
Mauritius is set to become the epicenter of technological innovation in the Indian Ocean. The countdown has begun for DITEX 2025, the indispensable Information and Technology Exhibition, which will take place from May 16 to 18, 2025, at the SVICC in Pailles.
This major event, inspired by the Mauritius Institute of Directors (MIoD), is orchestrated by Powered by Emtel, Absa Bank, Honor, and Mauritius Telecom, in partnership with the Ministry of Information Technology, Communication, and Innovation. The goal is clear: to position Mauritius as a true regional digital hub.
DITEX 2025 transcends the traditional trade show concept. It offers a complete immersion into the technological ecosystem with two complementary dimensions designed to meet the expectations of both professionals and the general public.
For Professionals (B2B)
Throughout these three intense days, the professional program will feature strategic conferences, expert roundtables, and sector meetings. Key themes will include: "Artificial Intelligence and the Transformation of the Professional World"; "Cybersecurity and Digital Sovereignty Challenges"; "5G, the Internet of Things, and Automation"; "E-commerce, Fintech, and Sustainable Technologies".
For the General Public (B2C)
For visitors, DITEX 2025 will transform into a true exploration ground with exceptional opportunities: flash sales and exclusive offers on high-tech innovations; immersive virtual reality experiences; and direct interactions with brands to test and purchase products.
MIoD as a Strategic Partner
The MIoD will actively participate in DITEX 2025 as a strategic partner. This collaboration will significantly enrich discussions around technological innovation. Recognized as a leader in promoting responsible corporate governance in Mauritius and the region, the MIoD will highlight the fundamental importance of ethics, visionary leadership, and sustainability to effectively support technological advancements.
The institute will have a dedicated space at the heart of the exhibition and will host a series of exclusive sessions on governance throughout the event. These workshops will cover essential topics such as: "Building Trust in Emerging Technologies: Ethics, Cybersecurity, and Governance"; "Women in Tech: Innovating and Inspiring"; and "Innovating for Sustainability: Creating Responsible Impact".
Through this significant participation, the MIoD aims to intensify the dialogue on governance in the digital age, ensuring that Mauritius's digital transformation occurs resiliently, ethically, and inclusively.
Employment, Training, and Skills Development
With over 300 job openings, direct recruitment sessions, and dedicated stands for professional training, DITEX 2025 is set to become an essential crossroads for digital talent. Universities and specialized centers will showcase their programs in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, cloud technologies, software development, and other promising fields.
Alongside the exhibition, a large culinary festival sponsored by Coca-Cola will create a festive outdoor atmosphere. Various food trucks will offer a selection of local and international specialties to delight the taste buds of the entire family.
An Accessible Event for All
