From August 29 to 31 at SVICC - 11th Edition of the Ready-to-Travel Fair: Explore the World Without Breaking the Bank

Join us from August 29 to 31 at the Swami Vivekananda International Conference Centre (SVICC) for the 11th edition of the Ready-to-Travel Fair, presented by Events Plus in collaboration with Le Défi Media Group and Radio Plus, with Air Mauritius as the main partner.

This year’s fair will showcase a wide range of travel and leisure options, featuring exclusive promotional deals on various destinations. Over three days, visitors will have the chance to explore a vast selection of destinations at discounted rates. The event will bring together a diverse array of travel industry professionals, including travel agencies, airlines, tourism boards, cruise lines, and leisure operators, all ready to assist visitors in planning their trips, whether for relaxation, business, or cultural exploration.

Designed for all types of travelers, whether seasoned or novice, the Ready-to-Travel Fair caters to those eager to discover new places, whether alone, with family, or friends.

"The Ready-to-Travel Fair is a highly anticipated event for Mauritians. This year, we are back with an edition full of new offerings, particularly exclusive deals from our exhibitors," said Gwendoline de Spéville-Genestar, Brand & Marketing Manager at Events Plus.

She added, "Our goal is to showcase tourism in all its forms: local, regional, and international. Exhibitors will present a range of options suited to different traveler profiles, whether it's for a family getaway, a romantic escape, a cruise, or a business trip."

In addition to offers on flights and packages, some exhibitors will highlight leisure activities available in Mauritius and the region. The fair is intended to be a meeting point between travel professionals and a public eager for discovery and new experiences. Visitors will have the opportunity to interact with travel professionals, learn about destinations and accommodation conditions, compare options, and receive personalized advice.

Accessible Promotions for Everyone

For those who believe traveling is still too expensive, this fair is a chance to change those perceptions. Exhibitors will offer special deals on flights, packages, and cruises aimed at making certain destinations more affordable and catering to various budgets. "Promotional rates will be available for a wide selection of destinations. The goal is to enable visitors to fulfill their travel dreams while staying within their budget," stated Gwendoline de Spéville-Genestar.

Tourism offices will provide insights into the culture, history, and points of interest to visit while assisting travelers in planning their stays. There will also be a dedicated space for expatriation and studying abroad, allowing interested individuals to gather information on the necessary steps to live or study outside of Mauritius.

An Experience to Enjoy On-Site

The fair is not just about travel planning; it also offers on-site experiences. Providers will offer tastings of local and international specialties, inviting visitors to embark on a culinary journey upon arrival.
