Portrait: Giuliano Eneo De Fari, an Eco-Conscious Italian

Giuliano Eneo De Fari, an Italian, has been living in Mauritius since 2017. Although he has never applied for Mauritian citizenship, he loves this country as if it were his own. It pains him to see that wastewater often ends up in septic tanks and subsequently in the sea, and that chemically treated wastewater is rarely tested upon discharge to ensure compliance with the 2002 Environment Protection Act. This engineer is deeply concerned about the ecological state of the environment.
