Quartier-Militaire: A Retiree Robbed at a Bus Stop

A violent incident occurred in broad daylight on Thursday in Quartier-Militaire. At around 2 PM, a 63-year-old retiree, who lives in the village, was waiting for the bus at the stop near Daruty Shop when his afternoon turned into a nightmare. An individual approached him and, in a threatening tone, said: "Give me everything you have." After the retiree refused, the assailant forcibly snatched Rs 2,500, his national ID card, and his bank card before fleeing the scene.
