Infant with Fever: 9-Month-Old Dies from Septicemia

A 9-month-old infant who was suffering from a fever passed away yesterday morning after being admitted to the Jeetoo Hospital’s intensive care unit on Saturday night. The child had received a dose of Panadol syrup before experiencing convulsions.

Emergency medical staff transported the baby, but unfortunately, he did not survive.

An autopsy attributed the cause of death to septicemia, and an investigation has been launched.
