Dogs: Registration Will Also Take Place at Police Stations

Police stations will temporarily host the animal registration exercise, starting from October 13 until December 23.

The police commissioner issued a circular to the Divisional Commanders on Monday, October 6, following the implementation of this measure on October 1. Anticipating a high influx at the headquarters of the Mauritius Society for the Welfare of Animals (MSAW), the authorities decided to utilize police stations to facilitate the process.
