Rodrigues: A Woman Raped at Hotel

A stay that was meant to be relaxing turned into a nightmare for a 25-year-old woman. While on vacation in Rodrigues with a group of friends, she allegedly became a victim of rape during the night of October 3rd to 4th in a hotel room in Anse-aux-Anglais, Port Mathurin. The victim, who is currently hospitalized at Dr. A. G. Jeetoo Hospital in Port Louis, has filed a rape complaint with the police in Pointe-aux-Sables.
