Reservoirs Approach 90% Capacity

The water reserves in the country are in good condition. The overall filling rate of the reservoirs reaches 87.4%, compared to 63.7% at the same time last year.

Midlands Dam registers the highest level at 94.1%, followed by Mare Longue at 93.6% and Bagatelle Dam at 93.4%.

The Mare aux Vacoas reservoir, the main source of drinking water in the country, shows 88%, a significant increase from the 67.4% recorded in 2024. Piton du Milieu has reached 84.9%, up from 63.9% last year.

La Ferme stands at 69.9%, an increase from 44% in 2024, while La Nicolière climbs to 67.7%, compared to 48.7% at the same time last year.
