Illegal Earthworks in Tamarin: Environment Ministry Steps In

Illegal earthworks being carried out near the Legend Hill real estate project in Tamarin were done without the approval of the Ministry of the Environment. This was determined during a joint visit by officers from the Ministry and the Environmental Police to the site.

Junior Minister of the Environment, Joanna Bérenger, stated that she has alerted the Rivière Noire District Council to take action to stop these deforestation activities on La Tourelle mountain.
