Mental Health Day: Anil Bachoo Calls to Break the Taboo Surrounding Mental Disorders

"We must break the taboo and stigma surrounding mental illnesses." This was stated by Anil Bachoo on the occasion of Mental Health Day, celebrated on the morning of Thursday, September 9th, at the Brown-Séquard Psychiatric Hospital in Beau-Bassin. The Minister of Health praised the work of the healthcare staff and acknowledged the challenges of their mission.

He also emphasized that he pays special attention to the Beau-Bassin facility and will ensure it never lacks staff, so that patients can receive all necessary care and attention.
