Trou Fanfaron – Theft Involving an Accident Vehicle: A Policeman Arrested

On Saturday, October 11, 2025, at 6:30 AM, it was reported that a police officer has been arrested for allegedly stealing sound equipment from a vehicle that had been involved in an accident. The vehicle was parked in front of the Fanfaron police station.

On Friday, the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Port-Louis North, under the supervision of Inspector Lullith, arrested a constable assigned to the Fanfaron station. The officer, who has ten years of service, spent the night in custody at the Moka Detention Center.

He will be charged with theft on Saturday before the short weekend.
