License Suspended Since April: Young Man Arrested in Vacoas After Refusing to Comply with a Traffic Check
A 19-year-old man from Phoenix was arrested in Vacoas on Friday, October 10, after he refused to comply with a traffic check.
According to the police, the suspect was driving recklessly, ignored three red lights, and was using his phone while driving. He was not wearing a seatbelt and was driving a vehicle without insurance, a registration sticker, or a fitness certificate.
Investigators noted that his driving license had been suspended by court order since April 8, 2025.
During his arrest, the young man injured a police officer by slamming the door of his car shut. He has been detained pending his court appearance.
