Water Supply: Marshall Plan Approved to Address Water Shortage

As announced on October 2 during a visit to Beau Songes, the Minister of Energy and Public Utilities, Patrick Assirvaden, presented his Water Marshall Plan to the Cabinet on Friday, October 10. This plan aims to mobilize additional water resources in a coordinated manner over the next two to three years to address the water shortage, especially during the dry seasons.

A multi-party committee has been established to oversee its implementation and ensure effective management of water resources.
