Artificial Intelligence: Google Announces Giant Site Installation in India and $15 Billion Investment

On Tuesday, Google announced the establishment of a data center and an artificial intelligence (AI) site in India, marking the largest such facility outside the United States, with a commitment to invest $15 billion over five years in the world's most populous country.

"This will be the largest (site) we are building outside the United States," said Thomas Kurian, CEO of Google Cloud, at a press conference in New Delhi, noting that it will be located in Visakhapatnam, in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
