The President's Office Denies Any Contact Between Dharam Gokhool and Andry Rajoelina

The Republic of Mauritius' presidency has denied any communication between President Dharam Gokhool and his Malagasy counterpart, Andry Rajoelina.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, October 14, the State House noted that it had become aware of information circulated in the local press, citing an article from Africa Intelligence claiming that President Gokhool had been in contact with the Malagasy head of state.
The presidency asserts that no contact has taken place at any time between the two leaders.
The statement also urges all concerned parties, including the media, to verify any information through official channels before publication.
