Teachers' Day: Minister Gungapersad Announces Several Favorable Measures

Teachers' Day, celebrated on October 11 at Sookdeo Bissoondoyal State College in Rose Belle, attracted around 450 attendees. The event featured a constructive meeting between the president of the Federation of Education Union (FEU) and the Government Secondary School Teachers’ Union (GSSTU), Yugeshwur Kisto, and the Minister of Education and Human Resources, Mahend Gungapersad. Several critical issues concerning the well-being and working conditions of teachers were discussed, highlighting the government's commitment to improving education in the country.
