Autopsy Report: Danaa Laeticia Malabar was stabbed twice by her husband. The autopsy, conducted yesterday afternoon, October 15, by Dr. Maxwell Monvoisin, concluded that the victim died from severe chest injuries.

Brandon Malabar, aged 31, confessed to fatally attacking his partner. He told the police that he did not intend to harm his 25-year-old wife.

However, arguments were frequent within the couple.

Danaa Laeticia Malabar had left their marital home to take refuge in an abandoned house in Curepipe. It was there that the tragedy unfolded; in a fit of rage, Brandon Malabar stabbed his wife.

The couple was very active on TikTok and appeared to be in a perfect relationship. But behind this facade, tensions were building - repeated arguments, suspicions of infidelity, and domestic violence.

Danaa Laeticia Malabar's relatives claim that she regularly suffered abuse from her husband. According to available information, a new argument - over alleged infidelity - erupted Sunday morning, first in Beau Vallon and then in Curepipe, at the abandoned house where the young woman had sought refuge.

At that moment, the victim was stabbed and left to bleed out. It was only a few hours later that she succumbed to her injuries.

The suspect will be provisionally charged with murder this Thursday morning at the Curepipe court.
