Souillac: Two Pedestrians Attacked by Cane Corso Dogs
Souillac: Two pedestrians were attacked by several Cane Corso dogs in the evening of Tuesday, October 14. A 62-year-old man and a 55-year-old woman were walking in their neighborhood when the dogs reportedly charged at them. In their initial statement to the police, the victims provided the name of the dog's owner, a local resident, who is expected to be summoned soon for clarification. One of the victims was unable to specify the exact number of dogs involved.
Both injured individuals were taken to Souillac Hospital for initial treatment and later transferred to Dr. Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital in Rose-Belle for further medical care. The woman was admitted to the hospital, while the man was able to return home. Due to the trauma they experienced, their full statements have not yet been recorded by the police. Authorities are investigating a potential offense of "Allowing a dog to stray" to determine the owner's responsibilities.
