Investigation into Sexual Abuse of 4-Year-Old Twins

The Family Protection Brigade (BPF) and the Northern Division police are investigating allegations of sexual abuse involving two 4-year-old twin girls. According to a complaint filed by their mother on Tuesday, October 14, the girls were reportedly abused by a neighbor on Monday, October 6, after returning home from school.

The children provided the police with the name of the alleged perpetrator. The mother, aged 35, noted that her daughters only spoke about the incident a few days later. She immediately alerted the authorities. Since then, psychologists from the ministry have been providing psychological support to the twins while they await medical examinations at the Police Medical Office (PMO). During interviews conducted in the presence of their mother, the twins disclosed the acts they allegedly suffered while their parents were not at home. The police are currently continuing their investigation to establish the exact circumstances and confirm the facts.
