Public Transport: Real-time Bus Tracking to Launch in 2026

The public transport sector is set for a major transformation. During a press conference at the National Land Transport Authority (NTLA) in Cassis on Tuesday, Transport Minister Osman Mahomed announced the restructuring of the Disciplinary Committee. He also revealed the introduction of the Fleet Management System – a nationwide technological tracking system for buses. An investment of Rs 70 million is earmarked for this project.
