Padayachy Announced at W50 Summit

Renganaden Padayachy, former Minister of Finance, appeared in court on October 15 to request a temporary lift of his travel ban. He wishes to travel to France, England, and India. The FCC and police oppose this, citing a flight risk. While a court decision is awaited on October 21, Renganaden Padayachy is announced to attend the W50 Global Summit, which will take place in New Delhi, India, on December 15 and 16, 2025. The World Leaders Consortium website states: "Join him at the W50 Global Summit, where he will share his vision on global finance, leadership, and sustainable growth."
