Quatre-Bornes: A Young Man Claims He Was Assaulted, Undressed, and Filmed at Knifepoint

Quatre-Bornes: A 21-year-old man claims he was violently assaulted, undressed at knifepoint, and filmed naked in a sugarcane field.

According to his account, the incident occurred on the night of Saturday, October 18, after he was expelled from a club in Quatre-Bornes.

As stated in his police report, the alleged victim, who was under the influence of alcohol, was walking with a friend towards Saint-Jean when a vehicle stopped beside them. Three individuals reportedly got out and forced them to get inside.

The young man recounted that he was then beaten, stripped of his clothes, and filmed naked by his assailants. They allegedly stole several personal items — money, bank cards, and watches — estimated to be worth around Rs 3,500.

The two young men were eventually abandoned in Rose-Hill. Injured on his face and neck, the complainant received medical attention.

The police have launched an investigation to clarify the details of this alleged assault.
