Adil Dookee is the only Mauritian selected for the prestigious World Jiu-Jitsu Championship taking place in Bangkok, Thailand. He earned this opportunity through his world ranking in his category and his title as African Champion 2024. His achievements also include a bronze medal at the 2024 World Championship in Greece, as well as a title in full-contact Jiu-Jitsu at the African Championship in 2023, among other accomplishments.

Although Adil did not participate in any tournaments this year due to an injury, he has managed to maintain his world status and stay at the top thanks to his outstanding performances in previous competitions.
