Mami Ravatomanga's Relatives Allowed to Leave the Country

The relatives of Mami Ravatomanga have been permitted to leave the country. Mauritian authorities have no objections to this. However, the Malagasy businessman will have to remain on Mauritian soil.

According to available information, his wife has chosen to stay by his side. Furthermore, Mami Ravatomanga is still admitted to a private clinic for health reasons.

It is worth noting that he arrived in Mauritius with his relatives aboard a private jet on October 12.

The following day, they were subject to a Report on Departure. However, the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) decided to lift this decision, as currently, only the businessman is under investigation.

His bank accounts, as well as his companies, are currently subject to an Attachment Order issued by the Supreme Court at the request of the FCC. Investigators are waiting for the Malagasy businessman to be discharged from the clinic to proceed with his questioning.

He is also facing an extradition request from Madagascar.

Through his lawyer, Me Siddharta Hawaldar, Mami Ravatomanga has already expressed his intention to fully cooperate with the investigators and stated that he wishes to be transparent.
