Weather: Gusts of up to 60 km/h Expected in Mauritius
Clouds coming from the east-southeast are influencing local weather. The weather will be partly cloudy this morning and throughout the day, with light rain expected in the east, south, and on the central plateau, according to the weather bulletin issued by the Vacoas station on Friday, October 24.
However, the weather will remain generally fine elsewhere. Maximum temperatures will range from 22 to 25 °C on the central plateau and from 27 to 30 °C in coastal areas.
The minimum temperature will be between 17 and 19 °C in the heights and between 21 and 23 °C along the coast.
Winds will blow from the east-southeast at about 25 km/h, with gusts reaching up to 60 km/h in some places.
The sea will be rough beyond the reefs, with swells from the southwest of around 3 meters. High-sea outings as well as those in the lagoons of the south and west are not recommended.
