"Senior Counsel and Senior Attorney Act": The Three Contestants Withdraw Their Complaint

The battle against the appointments of Senior Counsel and Senior Attorney has come to an end as of October 23. Lawyers Jacques Tsang Mang Kin, Ammanah Ragavoodoo (advocate), and Avinash Renga Sunassee have decided to withdraw their case from the Supreme Court, following the enactment of the Senior Counsel and Senior Attorney Act, which was passed in an emergency session on October 10 and promulgated on October 15.
