Murder of His Wife: Brandon Malabar Returns to the Scene of the Crime, Booed by the Public

Brandon Malabar, accused of murdering his wife Danaa Malabar, 25 years old, participated in a reenactment of the events on the morning of Saturday, October 25. The 31-year-old led investigators from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Eau-Coulée to an abandoned building in Curepipe, where he allegedly fatally attacked his wife during an argument.

Wearing a full-face helmet and a bulletproof vest, he was heavily booed by the public. "Murderer, you killed your wife!" could be heard as he returned to the police vehicle.

At the scene, he explained that he had stabbed Danaa multiple times in a moment of loss of control. "I stabbed her with a knife in anger," he stated in front of the investigators and forensic officers.

According to him, he had arranged a meeting with Danaa over the phone. The encounter turned tragic. Danaa Malabar was killed on Sunday, October 12, during this confrontation with her husband, from whom she was living separately.

Brandon Malabar admits to the assault but denies any intention to kill.
