Death of Bollywood Artist Satish Shah
Veteran actor Satish Shah has passed away at the age of 74 this Saturday. Known for his comedic roles in television series like "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai," he also made a mark in films such as "Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro," "Hum Saath Saath Hain," "Kal Ho Naa Ho," and "Main Hoon Na." The series "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai" made him popular among a new generation, and he continued to receive public affection up until his last days, even though the show ended over a decade ago.
According to director Ashoke Pandit, Satish Shah suffered from kidney failure. He suddenly fell ill at his home and was rushed to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai where he passed away. The actor's body will be returned to his residence in Bandra.
The Cine & TV Artistes' Association (CINTAA) has confirmed his passing and expressed condolences. Comedian Johny Lever also shared his emotions, recalling that he spoke with Satish Shah just two days before his death. He stated: "Satish Bhai, we will miss you deeply. Your immense contribution to cinema and television will never be forgotten."
