Assault on a Police Officer in Tranquebar: Suspect Wanted

A routine patrol escalated into violence on Friday morning in Tranquebar when an individual violently attacked a police officer before fleeing the scene. The incident occurred around 8:30 AM along Pouce Street, as two officers encountered a 42-year-old man who was already wanted for violating judicial obligations. According to initial investigation findings, the officers attempted to apprehend him. The man reportedly brandished a cutter in one hand and a stick in the other.
