Tax Investigation: The MRA Scrutinizes Mamy Ravatomanga's Billions

Since Sunday, October 19, Malagasy businessman Maminiaina (Mamy) Ravatomanga, who is closely associated with the former Malagasy president, has been under the scrutiny of Mauritian authorities. He arrived in Mauritius on a private jet during the night of October 11-12 and is currently the subject of two separate investigations: one conducted by the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) following a fraud complaint, and the other by the Mauritius Revenue Authority (MRA) concerning enormous sums linked to certain transactions.
