Metro Express: Line 2 Suspended on Sundays to Optimize Costs

Metro Express Ltd (MEL) will suspend services on its Line 2, which connects Rose-Hill to the Mahatma Gandhi Institute (Réduit), every Sunday starting November 2. This decision was confirmed by the Cabinet during its meeting on October 24.

Due to very low Sunday ridership, operating this line is considered economically unfeasible. In light of these financial constraints, MEL has decided to focus its resources on days with higher passenger volumes.
