First Half: Mauritius Attracts Foreign Direct Investments of Rs 15.6 Billion

🔴 Real estate remains the big winner.

Foreigners continue to invest in Mauritius, though the figures indicate a slight decline at the start of the year. According to the Bank of Mauritius, the country received Rs 15.6 billion in foreign direct investment in the first half of 2025, compared to Rs 15.9 billion during the same period in 2024. A small decrease, indeed, but it also reflects a certain stability in an uncertain global context.
