Ravatomanga Case: Major Developments Expected According to Nasser Bheekhy's Lawyers

Lawyers for Nasser Bheekhy, Samad Goolamaully and Ashley Hurhangee, were present on Tuesday, October 28, at the Port Louis Court. They announced to the press that major developments are expected today, or at the latest tomorrow, in the Ravatomanga case. According to them, the investigation has reached a "very delicate" stage.

"We will be able to discuss it tomorrow," emphasized Ashley Hurhangee, without providing further details. The lawyers were at the court to take steps towards securing bail for their client.

Nasser Osman Bheekhy was brought before the Port Louis court on Monday, October 27, 2025, where he was charged with provisional conspiracy. The offense allegedly took place on October 15, 2025, in Port Louis. The Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) opposed his release on bail.

This resident of Vallée-Pitot is accused of having conspired with David Jean Christian Thomas — a close associate of Mamy Ravatomanga — to meet with a senior official from the FCC in order to influence an investigation targeting the Malagasy magnate.
