Dog Registration: MSAW Still Waiting for Private Veterinarians

It will still be a while before dog registration can take place at private veterinary clinics.

According to our sources, the Mauritius Society for Animal Welfare (MSAW) is still waiting for responses from veterinarians to the tender launched a few weeks ago. Before they can participate, these practitioners must first register with the Data Protection Office, as required by personal data protection legislation.

Once the tender process is completed, MSAW will proceed with signing an agreement, a necessary step before the official launch of dog registration in the private sector.
