Ravatomanga Case: Nasser Bheeky Remains in Custody, Court Denies Bail

Brought to the Port Louis court this Wednesday afternoon, Nasser Bheeky pleaded for his release, represented by lawyers Ashley Hurhangee and Samad Golamaully. The Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) opposed this, arguing that his release would pose a risk of interference.

When called to the stand, the defendant stated that his life and that of his family "are in danger." He also claimed that he was unwell.

The magistrate recommended a medical examination.
