Constance Generosity Challenge 2025: A Day of Effort and Solidarity for Link to Life
Twelve hours of collective effort on bicycles, 606 participants spread across the Indian Ocean, and over $15,000 raised for local NGOs. The 5th edition of the Constance Generosity Challenge 2025, organized by the Constance Foundation, once again brought together employees from various entities of the group and clients from Constance Hospitality hotels, all united in a spirit of sportsmanship, humanity, and inspiration.
From 6 AM to 6 PM, Constance Hospitality establishments in Mauritius, Seychelles, Maldives, Madagascar, and Rodrigues, along with Constance La Gaieté and Coroi Mauritius, experienced the rhythm of this unifying event. Reflecting a shared commitment and beautiful human solidarity, each hotel mobilized a team of 50 cyclists—a symbolic nod as the hotel group celebrates its 50th anniversary this year—who took turns throughout the day to cover as many kilometers as possible for a good cause.
For every kilometer traveled, $5 was donated to a local NGO. This year, in Mauritius, as part of an initiative coinciding with Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October Rose), the funds raised were donated to Link to Life, an organization actively working on prevention, screening, and support for individuals affected by cancer.
This edition, coinciding with the hotel group's 50th anniversary, needed to reflect the significance of such a celebration. By the end of the challenge, over $15,000 had been raised, with each establishment carefully tracking the distances covered. In Mauritius and Rodrigues, a total of Rs 320,000 was donated to Link to Life, marking a commendable example of solidarity and community engagement.
A Collective and Supportive Movement
On this occasion, Vincent de Marassé Enouf, president of the Constance Foundation, emphasized that "generosity and commitment to our communities have always been at the heart of our actions. The Constance Generosity Challenge brings these values to life by uniting our teams and clients around meaningful and supportive initiatives. Celebrating our 50 years while continuing this commitment is a true source of pride."
