Essential Service: Irregular Water Supply - Ongoing Projects to Address Shortages

In response to the question from MP Arvin Babajee regarding the irregular water supply in the areas of Flic-en-Flac, Cascavelle, Tamarin, La Gaulette, and Le Morne, the Minister of Energy and Public Utilities, Patrick Assirvaden, explained that these regions are experiencing water shortages due to limited production capacity in the face of rapid development. The inadequate expansion of hydraulic infrastructure, the high tourist season, and ongoing developments have exacerbated the situation.
