BoM: Increase in Total Revenue to Rs 15.2 Billion in September 2025

The Bank of Mauritius (BoM) has released its accounts for September 2025, which show an increase in total global revenue.

After recording a total comprehensive income of Rs 8.66 billion in August, the institution reports Rs 15.92 billion for September.

During the same period, the total assets of the central bank rose from Rs 524 billion to Rs 531 billion. This change is mainly attributed to an increase in foreign assets, although cash and cash equivalents decreased from Rs 109 billion in August to Rs 103 billion in September.

Total liabilities remained stable at Rs 463 billion over the two months. However, the internal composition of these liabilities has changed, primarily due to an increase in government liabilities, which rose from Rs 3 billion to Rs 12 billion, affecting the overall results for the month.
