A Person Who Welcomed Mamy Ravatomanga Questioned by the CCID This Friday
An investigation by the Special Cell of the Central Criminal Investigation Department (CCID) into the controversial landing of Malagasy billionaire Mamy Ravatomanga on the night of October 11 is taking a new turn. Investigators are set to question, this Friday, a person who welcomed Mamy Ravatomanga at the Jet Prime Lounge at the airport.
During the Private Notice Question on Tuesday, October 28, Prime Minister Navin Ramgoolam provided details about the landing of the private jet. He noted that four individuals arrived at the Jet Prime lounge around 1:15 AM. Internal documents indicate that these individuals requested access to the lounge prior to landing: one at 12:33 AM, and the others as early as 10 PM.
Initial findings suggest that the arrival of the aircraft was planned. Two of the attendees were among the guests at a dinner co-hosted by Jet Prime Ltd on Saturday, October 11, at Avalon. These connections raise questions, and the CCID investigators want to determine whether certain actions were taken outside of normal procedures.
