Murder of Natasha Cornet: Her Husband Remains in Custody

No bail for Aumanand Singh Cornet, 37, a resident of Goodlands, who has been provisionally charged with the murder of his wife, Natasha Cornet, 35. He appeared in the Pamplemousses court on Thursday, October 30, and was remanded in police custody.

It is important to note that the lifeless body of Natasha Cornet, a mother of three, was discovered last Sunday on an abandoned lot near a river in Morcellement Sainte-André.

An autopsy revealed that the victim died from neck compression. Following the incident, Aumanand Singh Cornet reportedly attempted to take his own life.
