Perinatal Mental Health: 117 Mothers Affected in Three Years

In response to MP Rubna Daureeawo, Health Minister Anil Bachoo stated that 117 mothers have suffered from perinatal mental health disorders over the past three years. The patients are cared for by a multidisciplinary team and monitored during and after pregnancy. Severe cases are hospitalized, with the babies placed in a monitored nursery.
