Assault in Port-Louis: A Couple Tied Up and Robbed at Home

A couple living in the capital experienced a nightmare. The husband and wife were attacked and bound in their home, located on Mgr Leen Street in Port-Louis, on the night of Friday, October 31st.

An armed individual wearing a mask burst into their home around two o’clock in the morning. He allegedly locked his victims in the bathroom before making off with Rs 100,000 and their 4x4 vehicle, which is still missing at this time.

The investigation is being conducted by the CID of Port-Louis South. Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage to identify the perpetrator.
