International Day: Lessons Youth Teach Adults About Love for Mauritian Creole

Are there institutional "roadblocks" on the path of Mauritian Creole (KM)? Students from the University of Mauritius have shown us that this is not a problem. What truly matters to them is their active commitment to their mother tongue, an interest cultivated through their interactions with professors on the Réduit campus.

These students turned out in large numbers at the conference hall of the Beau-Bassin/Rose-Hill municipality on Wednesday, October 29. The Creole Speaking event was organized to promote and celebrate their heritage.
