Afghanistan: Earthquake in the North Claims Over Twenty Lives and Hundreds Injured, Preliminary Report
More than twenty people have died in a 6.3 magnitude earthquake that struck northern Afghanistan from the night of Sunday, November 2, to Monday, November 3. The earthquake occurred just before 9:30 PM (Paris time) in Samangan province, near the city of Mazar-e-Sharif, at a depth of 28 km, according to the US Geological Survey (USGS).
