Summer Outlook 2025-2026: Temperatures Expected to Reach 36°C in the West of the Country

The summer is expected to be very hot, with temperatures potentially reaching up to 36°C in the western part of the country. Additionally, between 11 and 13 cyclonic systems are anticipated during the summer period, through to May 15, 2026.

As for rainfall, summer showers are expected to begin appearing in the second week of December. These forecasts were presented on the afternoon of Monday, November 3, by Prithviraj Booneeady, the interim director of the Vacoas weather station.
