Sex Dolls: French Justice Investigates Shein, AliExpress, Temu, and Wish

The Paris prosecutor's office has opened four investigations into the practices of Asian e-commerce giants Shein, AliExpress, Temu, and Wish after reports highlighted the sale of sexual items resembling children.

The investigations, assigned to the Office for Minors (Ofmin), focus on the "distribution of violent, pornographic messages, or messages contrary to human dignity accessible to minors" for all four sites. Additionally, for Shein and AliExpress, they are looking into the "distribution of images or representations of minors with pornographic characteristics," as announced by the prosecutor's office to AFP.
