FCC: Dawood Rawat Calls for an Investigation into the Revocation of Bramer Bank's License
Dawood Rawat is demanding an investigation into the revocation of Bramer Bank's license. The former president of the now-defunct BAI group visited the Financial Crimes Commission (FCC) headquarters in Réduit Triangle on Tuesday, November 4th, accompanied by his lawyer, Me Shaan Kundomal.
He has requested the commission to look into the decisions made by the authorities in April 2015 that led to the revocation of Bramer Bank’s operating license.
In a statement after his visit, Dawood Rawat criticized the slow pace of investigations regarding his complaints filed months ago. He hopes that the authorities will expedite the processes so that former clients and investors of BAI can recover their funds.
