Moka: The New Ophthalmological Hospital Opens on November 10

Moka: The new ophthalmological hospital will open its doors on Monday, November 10. All activities of the current facility will be transferred to the new Subramania Bharati Eye Hospital building in Réduit.

Located opposite the Financial Crimes Commission offices in Moka, the site will host consultations, appointments, and procedures. According to Dr. Nemraj Kallychurun, an ophthalmology consultant, buses will now make a detour to the new hospital to facilitate access for patients.

The building, which spans six levels, can accommodate 32 male patients and an equal number of female patients, with the potential to increase this capacity if necessary.
